Meeting Date: April 9th, 2011
This month was our annual Dress Barn Trip (postponed from the previous month). Everyone had a wonderful time, and several very nice purchases were made. Dinner was pizza (thanks Pat!!). Due to the field trip, there was no business session this month.
Our next meeting is Saturday May 14th.
Meeting Date: February 12, 2011
The Meeting was called to order by co-presidents Margo and Sunni (Nanci being delayed). Co-pres shared some details of the Empire Conference in May and suggested she plans to attend. Secretary Diana reported on First Event, and her presentation there. The chair called for suggestions regarding topics for the April meeting. The plan for the annual Dress Barn trip was reviewed and Treasurer Sharla noted that we will again receive a 15% discount on our purchases that night.
We also wished Pat a happy birthday!
This month was Movie Night at Pathways. The group decided to watch "Breakfast on Pluto" rather than "Ma Vie en Rose" since nearly no one had ever seen it. The reviews were mostly positive.
We would like to thank members Sunni, Sue, Pat, Margo and Diana for their contributions to making the night a success.
Our next meeting is on March 12th, our annual Dress Barn shopping trip.
Meeting Date: January 8, 2011
Our first meeting of the new year was Game Night. Everyone had a great time playing Trivial Pursuit, Star Trek Trivia and Taboo.
We welcomed back long absent members Belinda and Shelly.
Cynthia shared that Montclair native Allison Grillo will be appearing at the Broadway Comedy Club on January 25th at 7:30pm performing her routine, “Jokes and Gender.” The club is located at:

($5 cover + 2 drink minimum)
Come out and support Allison.
Next month’s meeting is on February 12, 2011 and will be Movie Night...we will be screening Ma Vie En Rose (My Life in Pink), a French film about a small boy who cross-dresses and generally acts like a girl, talks of marrying his neighbor’s son, is sure he will grow up to be a woman - and can not understand why everyone is so surprised about it.
